February 20, 2011 - 11:57 AM   Postcard between John HUYTON, Private 238358, originally in the KSLI, but in the Shropshire Light Infantry when he died 21/03/1918, aged 19. Son of John & Harriet Huyton, 16, New Street, Halton, Lancs. (His brother Henry died 23/04/1915, aged 18) He sent the cards to Annie PORTER. They were found in a house clearance in Halsall.There were also photos of Annie, including at her Confirmation in 1922 and some family groups, unidentified. The photos have found a home in the Isle of Man
